Brass band on the hunt for new members

Paulton Concert Band played three concerts at the Army barracks in Corsham, a Trafalgar night celebration, the dining in of a new commanding officer and the dining out of an officer after 22 years' service.
Band chairman Rodney Williams said: "It was an honour for us to be asked to undertake these engagements. We were told that we were the first civilian band to give a military feel, which made us very proud."
The band are always on the hunt for new players with vacancies for brass, woodwind and percussionists.
Rodney said: "We are a fun social band who enjoy playing and making music to entertain people.
"It doesn't matter if you don't own an instrument, provided you enjoy playing we have a selection we can loan to players."
The band rehearse every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Paulton.
