Nine's fine for Norton Down

Norton got their title challenge back on track on Saturday with victory against bottom-of-the-league Marlborough.
A first-half hat-trick from Emma Venn, which included two neat reverse-stick finishes, put Norton well on the way to a comfortable win.
Karen Glover and Jackie Browning also added their names to the first half score sheet, as Norton dominated possession and territory.
With the Norton defence pushing high up the field and the midfield trio of Sarah Swift, Hayley Young and Debbie Nicholson controlling the game, Marlborough struggled to work the ball out of their own half.
A degree of frustration began to hamper the Marlborough effort and they had a player sin-binned for dissent as their focus wandered.
Norton made the most of their visitors' troubles, scoring four further goals to boost their league goal-difference considerably.
Second-half goals came regularly, with Glover securing a second-half hat-trick, and Venn getting the better of the Marlborough defence to score her fourth.
Norton defender Rachael McCarthy came close to making it a round 10, but her mazy run was stopped unceremoniously by the visiting keeper in the closing minutes.
Player of the match was Emma Venn.
Thanks go to Julia Williams and Vicky Parfitt for umpiring.
On Saturday, Norton have their last league game before the Christmas break when they travel to Keynsham to face Fry's, pushback: 12.30pm.
