A FEAST of music and song by the 40 voices of Maesteg and District Male Voice Choir entertained an audience at Midsomer Norton Methodist Church.

The concert was hosted by the Lions Club, and proceeds will go to Chew Lake Association of Disabled Sailors and Lions' charities.

Deputy musical director D Huw Morgan led the choir, which was accompanied by Catherine Morgan.

The programme included bass baritone solos by Byron Hughes and soprano solos by Sally-Ann Kingsbury, and ranged from Welsh classics including Men Of Harlech, to songs from the shows and hymns.

Lions' president Derek Livsey thanked the audience and St John Ambulance for their attendance, the church refreshment team, and the choir MC, Bryn Roberts.

Sponsors included Barons estate agency, Edwards Opticians, Fowlers Garage, Reflections PhotoCentre, Norton Green Farm Nursery and Casswells Hardware Plus.
