The wedding of Sarah Boots and Matthew Denning was a real family affair with Sarah's grandfather conducting the service.
The Rev Roy Boots, a retired vicar who celebrated his own diamond wedding with his wife Maureen in May, was continuing a family tradition.
He had also officiated at the wedding of Sarah's mother and father, Ian and Debbie Boots, who live at Waterford Park, Radstock.
The wedding took place at St John's Church, Midsomer Norton.
Sarah is a staff nurse and Matthew is an electrical estimator and also the first team captain of Midsomer Norton Rugby Club.
Matthew is the son of Neil and Anne Denning of Orchardleigh View, Frome.
Sarah wore a Phil Collins designed ivory trumpet shaped dress with diamante and pearl embellishments. She carried pink and ivory roses surrounded with aspidistra leaves.
She was attended by her cousin Natalie Dimaria, friends Louise Garlic and Charlotte Button and the bridegroom's niece Phoebe Castle.
The best man was Matthew's friend David Merrigan and the ushers were Sarah's brother Matthew and friend David Sawkins.
After a reception at Wick Farm, Farleigh Hungerford, the couple honeymooned in Mexico.
They have made their home in Westfield.
Bridesmaid Charlotte did the flowers for the wedding.
