Rehearsals are in full swing for the annual Timsbury pantomime which will be held at the Conygre Hall from December 12 to 15.

Patrick Bridges directs a strong cast of 12 principals for Mother Goose by Alan Frayn and hopes to replicate the success of the previous Christmas show Frankenstein the Panto (left).

Steve Turner plays Mother Goose (Dame) with Neil Moon in the role of Billy Gosling, Mother Goose's daft son. The romantic interest is provided by Emily Moon as the Dame's daughter Jill and Amelia Perry as Principal Boy Colin.

Ian Clark will encourage the boos and hisses this year as the ruthless landlord Maximilian Moneybags.

Roger Bird and John Ford will hope for plenty of laughs as the comedy twosome and the cast is completed by Rhiannon Bramley, Jo Whittock, Carol Ali, Peter Buchanan and newcomer Val Simmons.

Tickets cost £7 or £21 for a family ticket.
