Pensford Primary School children have raised £70 towards new playground equipment.
The money came from a bring and buy sale, which saw the hall buzzing as children snapped up the bargains on offer, including books, toys and cakes.
Teacher Sofia Hernandez, said the school had spent £30 at the Scrapstore charity, buying items for its adventure zone.
"The children have also requested a quiet zone, which they can colour and read in, and we are hoping to get outdoor cushions for that area."
They have also requested a music zone, with a CD player, a sports zone, and a games zone, as well as a gymnastics area.
To raise further money for equipment, the children will be holding a cake sale, and are also hoping to organise a talent contest as a money raising event. The parents and supporters association is also raising funds.
